CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- The Cass County Sheriff's office responded to a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Calvin Center Road and Calvin Hill Street in Calvin Township. 

The call came in at approximately 8:39 a.m. The investigation shows that a 28-year-old Elkhart man was traveling Eastbound on Calvin Hill Street when he proceeded to run a stop sign located at Calvin Center and Calvin Hill.

The second vehicle, driven by a 53-year-old Cassopolis woman, was driving Northbound on Calvin Center when she was struck by the vehicle.

The drivers of both vehicles were transported to Elkhart General Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
