SOUTH BEND, Ind. --A vacant house went up in flames just before 4:00 a.m. off of Sheridan Street.
More than $25,000 dollars worth of damage was caused to the house that has sat empty for at least two years.
It took firefighters about forty minutes to get the fire put out.
A neighbor who called 9-1-1 told investigators that she saw a man run from the home right before the fire started.
