Volunteers in Michiana spent the day making a difference

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY -- Volunteers in St. Joseph County spent their day making a difference.

For 12 straight hours folks from the St. Joseph County Extension Homeowners sewed, ironed, and cleaned for several of Michiana's community members most in need, including cancer survivors.

Volunteers said the 12 hour day was easy since they knew they were helping people.

The items made will go to the Busy Hands organization of Michiana.
