Woman survives tornado
MANSFIELD, Ga. -- A tornado picked up a home with a woman and dog inside and moved it 70-feet. Both the woman and the dog survived.
The EF 2 tornado hit the home Friday in Mansfield, about 45 miles southeast of Atlanta.
The tornado hit so quickly the National Weather Service never even had time to issue a warning.
There were no sirens or TV warnings telling her to take cover.
Her home was thrown 70 feet, trapping her inside.
"I was pinned like that and I didn't know if I was going to live," said Linda Hough. "It didn't really give you a chance to get real scared it hit so fast."
The woman suffered a broken ankle and her dog was injured but both are expected to be okay.
Her home of 27 years is gone.
