A quick punch of snow and cold
BENTON HARBOR, Mich – Benton Harbor Area Schools held their monthly Superintendent meeting on Tuesday.
Notably missing from the meeting, the school board.
Superintendent Robert Herrera and his administration addressed student enrollment, the new code of conduct and more issues; while the school board decided to hold their own meeting with the state of Michigan on Wednesday morning.
“You know as you’ve covered the district you could see over the last three board meetings they’ve all looked different so what I assume is it may look different in the future” Herrera said.
Wednesday’s school board meeting will address the advisory agreement between the state and the school board along with budget issues which includes the current school budget.
However, while the Superintendent and the school board workout their role moving forward Benton Harbor Schools Assistant Superintendent Patricia Robinson announced that 40 students from Benton Harbor High will go on a college tour in Tennessee and Arkansas.
