Deputies asking for help locating vehicle in hit and run
LA GRANGE COUNTY, Ind. -- The La Grange County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help locating a vehicle involved in a crash that injured a bicyclist Thursday morning.
The vehicle was eastbound on CR600 S and the victim, 69-year-old Perry Fry, was riding a bicycle in the same location.
Deputies say the vehicle's passenger side mirror struck Fry and knocked him off his bicycle.
The vehicle left the scene of the crash.
A passerby stopped and assisted Fry, who suffered a shoulder injury and possible concussion.
Officers from multiple agencies searched for the vehicle but were unable to locate it.
The suspect's vehicle is possibly a GMC or Chevrolet.
The model, possibly between 1999 and 2006, could be a Sierra, Tahoe, Avalanche or Silverado.
The vehicle will likely have damage to the passenger side mirror.
