ELKHART, Ind. -- Animal Planet announced Rhett the basset hound as the winner of this year's Puppy Bowl "Pupularity Playoffs."
Rhett is one of six puppies sent to the Puppy Bowl by Elkhart's Homeward Bound Animal Welfare Group, a non-profit animal rescue.
ABC57's Summer Horan recently sat down with Rhett and Jen Schwartz of Homeward Bound to discuss the Puppy Bowl, the work the non-profit does.
You can catch Rhett and the other pups on Animal Planet on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.
You can find more information about the Puppy Bowl online.
