Man arrested after going 90 MPH on US 30

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- A man was arrested for Resisting Law Enforcement after a car chase reaching 95 MPH on US 30 Tuesday evening.

The driver, 28-year-old Sebastiano Di Palma, was charged with Resisting Law Enforcement with a Vehicle, Reckless Driving, and Operating Without Ever Receiving a Driver's License.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff's Office, around 8:07 p.m. Tuesday, an officer attempted to pull over a 2024 Chevrolet driven by Di Palma on US 30 around Michigan Street for speeding.

After Di Palma allegedly failed to stop, he then allegedly accelerated to 95 MPH. Officers were then able to get Di Palma to pull over by surrounding the vehicle with police cars in front and behind,

Di Palma was then taken into custody, and a female passenger was later released.

Di Palma's bond was set at $1,500.
