MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department announced the arrest of a 35-year-old Saturday, Jan. 24, for drunk driving after reports of property damage around Plymouth Laporte Trail and 4B Road.

Around 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Marshall County deputies responded to the area of Plymouth Laporte Trail and 4B Road for reports of property damage, where they came upon a driver who they say was showing signs of intoxication.

The sheriff's office says the man was 35-year-old Anthony Michael Smith, who was then transported to the Marshall County Jail for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a BAC of .15 Percent or More, Operating a Motor Vehicle while Intoxicated Endangering, and False Informing.
