SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The University of Notre Dame held its annual Old2Gold Yard Sale on Saturday morning.
The 14th annual sale featured over 600 bikes, more than 100 pieces of dorm furniture, two semi trailers worth of office furniture, clothing, and more. All of the items have been donated by the University and Notre Dame students.
Additionally, all of the money raised will benefit local non-profit organizations. Over the past five years, Notre Dame has raised $174,000 for local charities through this sale. This year the University hopes to raise $30,000 to $40,000 for local charities..
Tickets go on sale at 6 a.m. The sale runs from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph County 4-H Fairgrounds. Admission is $5 per person. Parking is free.
