Round one of storms arriving soon
We’ll be hot and humid for this afternoon with increasing clouds before midnight. By 2 am, scattered showers and storms will move into Michiana. Some could be strong to severe with the main threats being damaging winds and heavy rain, which could lead to flooding in some spots. Storms stick with us through Saturday morning, and finally start to break apart by lunch time. Another weaker round could come through Saturday night as well.
Sunday looks much better with partly sunny skies, but an afternoon pop-up shower or storm can’t be ruled out either. The work week starts much drier and cooler as highs fall into the upper 70s for Monday.
Tonight: Scattered showers and storms after 2 am. Low of 73.
Saturday: Scattered storms in the morning, high of 86.
Sunday: Partly sunny with a slight chance of an afternoon shower/storm, high in the mid-80s.
Monday: Partly sunny. Highs in the upper 70s
