SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Are you looking for a job? The South Bend Public Transportation Corporation is holding a hiring event on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at their Administrative Office.

Transpo is looking to hire drivers, mechanics, bus cleaners, and fuelers.

The starting pay range is $20.65 to $29.30 based on position and experience.

Transpo states the fixed route driver positions require a Class B Commercial driver's license while Access driver positions require a for-hire license.

Officials added that paid training is available for qualified candidates. You must have a regular driver’s license.
