Two arrested at Economy Inn on drug-related charges
Marshall County Sheriff\'s Office MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department announced it participated in a joint investigation Sunday, Jan. 18, leading to the arrest of two in the Economy Inn in Plymouth on several drug-related charges.
Around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, a joint investigation was carried out with a search warrant at the Economy Inn in Plymouth on suspicions of methamphetamine, hypodermic syringes, and drug paraphernalia.
Through the investigation, the sheriff's department says they found suspected drugs and other items, resulting in them taking the 24-year-old Anna Clemons and 33-year-old Brent Hessler into custody.
Hessler was later found to have an active warrant for his arrest for a parole violation from an original charge of Dealing Methamphetamine., and both Clemons and Hessler were transported to the Marshall County Jail.
Both were charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe or Needle, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, and Possession of Paraphernalia. Hessler was additionally booked for his active warrant.
Clemons' bond was set at $7,500. Hessler's was set at $10,000 for his new charges, with no bond for his active warrant.
