Woman injured in shooting on Indiana Avenue

A woman was injured in a shooting early Wednesday morning while in a vehicle on Indiana Avenue, according to South Bend Police.
Police were called to the 700 block of E. Indiana Avenue around 2 a.m. to investigate reports of shots fired.
When they arrived, they found a 26-year-old woman with a non-life threatening wound to the shoulder.
The woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The victim told police she was sitting in a vehicle when she heard gunshots, then started to feel pain.
