ABC57 reporter Rosie Woods is in Boston and has been covering the preparations for the blizzard.
New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts are all under a state of emergency because of the snowstorm.
A travel ban is going into effect in Boston and the state of Massachusetts, so no one will be allowed on the roads after midnight.
Anyone caught driving could be fined $500 and their car towed.
Thousands of flights have been cancelled through Wednesday.
The worst of the storm is expected late Monday through Wednesday morning.
