SOUTH BEND, Ind. --For the 2022-2023 school year, the South Bend Community School Corporation is working to boost enrollment.
At the century center tonight, the district hosted its showcase of schools, giving both parents and students a chance to learn about everything it has to offer and ask any questions.
The administrators, principals, teachers and coaches that participated say events such as this are great opportunities to highlight the K through 12 programs, classes and extracurriculars available at their different schools.
Mark Zache, K-12 Fine Arts said: "What each school is able to do in terms of representing small sample sizes, whether were able to showcase, we don't get enough opportunity to do that, and this is the night where we can show that and really kind of stand out for each school of what they're able to do.
In the beginning of November, the enrollment period for the upcoming school year just got underway.
