Michigan bans Marijuana vaping products until further testing

LANSING, Mich. – The State of Michigan placed a ban on the sale of Marijuana vaping products on Friday.

This comes as further testing is planned for the presence of vitamin E acetate, which has been linked to vaping deaths nationally and locally.

The CDC reports that the substance is suspected of causing 55 cases of illness in Michigan.

Michigan additionally banned the use of vitamin E acetate alongside the ban of vaping products on Friday.

Labs must test for the substance during manufacture in the future in order for it to be distributed.
